About This Course:
Diploma in Nursing Science and
Midwifery is a professional program designed to prepare students for a career
in the healthcare sector. The course provides comprehensive knowledge of
patient care, clinical practice, nursing ethics, and healthcare management.
Students receive both theoretical
education and practical clinical training in hospitals and healthcare
institutions. After completing the 3-year academic program, students must
complete a 6-month internship to gain hands-on clinical experience in clinical
areas/hospitals according to logbook.
On the successful completion of
course, the student is required to take the BNMC comprehensive license
examination for licensing as a registered as a registered nurse. Then students
can work in government and private hospitals, clinics, community health
centers, and other healthcare institutions.
This program is conducted under the authority
and guidelines of the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).
